Slovak  Jozef  SYKORA  obtained  victory in cars in the "Baja España Madrid – Aragón“ international rally race

   The "Baja España Madrid-Aragón", has gained international prestige  throughout its 23 editions. A total of 167 motos and quads, 108 cars and 8 trucks faced during several days (20-23 of July of 2006) in a 1.310 route of kilometers crossing Madrid, Soria, Teruel and Zaragoza.

     The Slovak pilot won in his first participation in the "Baja España“ thanks to his  discipline and regularity. He didn´ t  appear in the prognoses as favorite but thanks to his large experience he demostrated his professionality together with his son as copilot, driving a  Mitsubishi.

     In the central Independencia Avenue thousands of people approached the spectacle of the race and could observe the final podium. The Slovak  representatives together with Mr. Jean Paul Bastiaans, the Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic for Aragon  and Rioja regions, went up the podium.
